Do You Believe That In General Women Are Supposed To Eat Less Than Men?

My mom says that part of the reasons many of today’s women are overweight is b/c they are eating as much as men do and they are supposed to eat less calories since they are smaller.

well kinda since generally woman are smaller then man i would assume they wouldn’t eat as much, but i don’t think that’s why so many are overweight theres a whole bunch of different reasons for that..but if a woman can still eat as much as a man and still can keep from being overweight, well theres nothin wrong wit that.

Smaller bodies do require less calories to properly function. That said, there are some men and women who are naturally the same size as one another without being overweight or obese and they’d require about the same amount of calories per day. So it isn’t necessarily a man/woman thing but more of a general body size thing.

I am quite happy to have a woman that is willing to eat a little more,
but prefer that she is willing to burn it off later.
All you can eat restaurants and portion size is too blame.

Women naturally have more body fat than men. However, it would depend on the dietary habits, and physical activity of both the man and the woman we are talking about.

Well I don’t want to sound Sexist but in general women are smaller than men so it makes sense that in general women should eat less too.
There are exceptions since I am a short man And if you take a tall woman she would eat more than me

That depends on how active they are. Women (or men either) that just sit and watch TV or sit at a desk all day don’t need as much food as more active people. Too many people are overweight and it’s unhealthy.

That’s old wives tale. It’s just that the food ends up in odd places in a woman.
