If you’re not hungry, you’re not hungry. Don’t force yourself to eat… it’s just your body telling you that it needs less food. It may be that you are in need of ‘detoxing’ and your body is letting you know. If you eat less, less energy will be taken up by the digestive process, and your body will focus that energy on other things, like healing.
Don’t worry – you’ll eat more again when you’re hungry.
Your metabolism will be lowered as a result though, and so you will find it easier to gain weight just as soon as you start to eat more. Just eat healthily and sensibly to prevent this from happening – lots of fresh fruit and veggies and wholemeal foods, NOT snacks and processed foods!
Several recent studies have shown that people who eat less, live longer – so you could be doing yourself a favour in the long run – just as long as the food that you are eating is good and healthy and nutricious.
If you want to loose weight, you could try the ‘zig-zag method’ whereby you eat low calory for three days, then have one day of eating more. This ‘fools’ your body into going into ’starvation mode’ and keeps your metabolism high.

Yes, if you don’t eat or you eat only once a day or very sporadically your metabolism slows down. Basically your body thinks your starving and will slow your metabolism to retain more nutrients/fat/vitamins/carbs of what little your do eat. Eating less than 1000 calories is pretty unhealthy.

Who is allowing you to diet? My heavens, you have so many other things to do, stop dieting. It is not good for a person your age. Quit dieting and enjoy your life, please.

Be sure to eat fresh organic food.
Here are some good ideas:
Losing weight:
1. Do something that gets your heart rate up a bit like, walking, running, biking, and swimming.
2. Eat Whole, Organic foods like: Broccoli, Cabbage, Organic Brown Rice, Spinach, Sweet Potato, Apples, and other fruits and vegetables in their Natural State.
3. Avoid eating corn, white bread, white rice, candy, sodas, chips, and anything else that you already know you shouldn’t be eating.
4. Drink clean water as your beverage of choice. Avoid Fruit drinks and fruit juices (unless YOU juice them yourself)
5. Stop smoking, drinking beer & wine, and drinking coffee.
6. Get 8 hours of sleep each night.
7. Hang out with people who want to be healthy.
Tone up the muscles:
1. Join a gym and get a trainer.
2. If you’re short on cash, start a light stretching & yoga regimen.
3. Do push-ups, and light dumbbell curls for the upper body.
4. As I said above, walk, run, swim, and or bike.
5. Take an aerobics class, a yoga class, or some other fitness class.
6. Join the local YMCA..
Mental Health:
1. Get a friend to talk to each day about your feelings.
2. If you have some money or insurance, get a counselor to talk to.
3. Learn how to meditate.
4. Join a support group for the issue you’re dealing with.
5. Ask your Higher Self (or God) for guidance.
6. Start keeping a diary or journal about your feelings & thoughts.
7. Write a ‘gratitude’ list every night.

It depends. I’m doing the Scarsdale Diet right now, which is about 850 calories a day. However, it’s only 2 weeks long and there is still protein and all that stuff in the diet (veggies, fish, meat, etc), so it isn’t “unhealthy.” It depends how long you do that for.

You should probably eat more than 1000 calories. Much depends on your weight and height and how much exercise/activity you are doing.

You don t say how old you are, how tall you are, how involved in sports you are, how fragile you are, how muscular you are. Howerver, chances are great you are undernourished especially if you are a teenager. You are damaging not only your metabolism but your brain as well. It doesn t take a bright light to know that your brain and your body need a lot more nourishment then 1000 calories. Start eating again.

Well if you are an adult and get pains(girl pains…) it might be because of that because of the stupid mood changes and eating changes!

It will slow down your metabolism, since your body goes into starvation mode. If you’re not trying to lose weight, then you should consume about 1,500 to 2,000 calories per day, depending on how active you are. Good luck.

yea, the average amount of calories that an average human should consume everyday is about 2,500 calories so try and eat foods with more calories instead of eating MOOORE food. ya know? good luck with that
