What Happens If You Eat Less Calories Than Your Bmr?

My BMR is about 1400 calories. What happens if I only eat 1200 a day? I mean, besides loose some weight. What does that do to your body? Is it unhealthy?

I would not suggest it. Your body needs those calories for the general repair. There are relatively cheap metabolic test out there (look for medgem) that can give you the exact amount of calories your body needs.
The energy is used to keep your heart beating, lungs functioning, and liver and kidneys working. When your body doesn’t get enough calories and it’s depleted your glycogen storage, it will start breaking down your muscles.
If you’re exercising, you’ll find that you can’t workout as hard or as long and you feel weak. You might start experiencing headaches and moodiness as well.
Check out the Harris-Benedict equation and calculate your needs.
Also, it takes a depletion of 3500 calories to lose a pound of fat. If you workout 500 calories and eat 500 less a day, you should lose 2lbs of fat in a week.
It is unhealthy if done regularly. Good luck!
